Training

We recognise that our people are our most important asset and we have always included a healthy sum in our yearly budgets to cover our training needs.  Our training policy is regularly reviewd and updated.  If you require a copy of the policy please contact us.

When it comes to our site based staff and those visiting site, we have ensured that all of them regularly attend Health and Safety related courses ranging from First Aid Training, Scaffold Appreciation courses to CDM. In addition, they all hold the CSCS Card.

We also have a detailed training programme for all our staff ranging from leaderships/management courses though to technical courses dealing with matters such as mechanical installation and so forth.

As part of our commitment to training, we recently applied for and received the Investors In People award.

We fully endorse the construction industry training initiative and we ensure that the subcontractors for whom the trainees work are committed to providing a high level of training. We are particularly pleased to highlight the fact that our Site Manager, Karim Najm, initially worked on one of our building sites as a Trainee Carpenter through the construction industry training initiative and, following his expression of interest of pursuing a career in Site Management, we employed him as a Trainee Site Manager. Karim has now been with us for three years and was recently promoted to Site Manager.
