It was with great pleasure that we recently sponsored a brave group of cyclists from Notting Hill Housing Group as they embarked on an impressive 200 mile bike ride from London to Paris. The group have managed to raise over £100,000 for the Notting Hill Charity; 'The Emergency Hardship Fund" which provides much needed help and support for families who are struggling to make ends meet. Andy Bugler and Peter Hill attended the launch event and Andy, pictured below with the cyclists, is now threatening to embark upon a similar journey with a team from Bugler Developments (volunteers permitting)!

"Know the 5 - Stay Alive"
Posted on Tuesday 24 September 2013
In order to raise awareness of the 5 most common areas of accidents on construction sites, Bugler Developments have developed it's "Know the 5 - Stay Alive" Health and Safety campaign.
Vehicle Movements, Falls from Height, Fire, PPE & Falling Materials contribute most to the accidents and fatalities on building sites in the UK and by highlighting these areas, Bugler Developments are making construction workers on their sites more aware of the risks.
At a recent Site Managers Meeting at Watford Football Club, our Operations Director, Mark King, re-iterated the common areas that need addressing and areas where improvements can be made.
Tool box talks and new induction procedures are being used as part of their campaign together with the issuing of high-vis vests showing "Know the 5 - Stay Alive" logo to site operatives, being rolled out over the next few months.

Kieran Bugler, our Managing Director of Bugler Homes made his long awaited debut in goal under the floodlights of Vicarage Road on Friday evening.
The first half saw Kieran and the Crusaders soak up at lot of pressure and they were pleased to reach half time only 2-0 down to the Watford Veterans. The second half was goal less and a fight back was on the cards. In the sixty third minute Kieran managed to slide out and grab a through ball but collided with the on coming forward and tracking defender.
The Watford experience ended with a late night trip to the adjoining A&E, his finger in a splint and several stitches in a knee wound!! Kieran said it was an amazing evening, but good to hear that the Watford Crusaders only play two matches a season!
