ISO 9001/ISO 14001 Accreditation
Posted on Monday 20 December 2010
Bugler Developments are delighted to announce that following an assessment by an independent body, they have been successful in being awarded ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Accreditation.
Although introduced many years ago only some 5% of British businesses have been successful in gaining ISO 9001 certification. As far as ISO 14001 is concerned, less than 1% of businesses have reached the standards required and been accredited.
A delighted Dave Culliton (pictured below with Lead Assessor Andrew Denchfield from QMS International) said “We have always been proud of the standard of service we offer our clients and the way that we minimise our impact on the environment. Now with the award of ISO 9001 and 14001, these important parts of our business have been reviewed and ratified by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and industries”.
Managing Director Andy Bugler added “This is a great achievement by all of our staff and an important step in the continuous development of our company”.

Our on-going commitment to Health & Safety throughout our organisation has been recognised with an NHBC Silver Award in the Company Recognition Category. Managing Director, Andy Bugler, commented that "Health & Safety is our number one priority and this award is particularly pleasing as it is based on an on-going audit across our operations and not merely a snapshot assessment. The scheme of just 30 homes, in Jackson Road, north Oxford, has already made headlines for its unique use of public artwork, which hangs from one side of the building, while A2Dominion also got local school children involved in the naming of the scheme. Gerry Walker, A2Dominion's Development Director (South East), said: "We are thrilled to be shortlisted in the Best Small Development category, and we look forward with anticipation to the results." Harrow Cricket Force
Posted on Wednesday 31 March 2010
Our commitment to assisting local sports teams recently led us to dig a 200M trench and install cables to supply electric to the new scoreboard at Harrow St Mary’s Cricket Club. Our efforts, however, were dwarfed by the hands-on volunteers from Middlesex Cricket Club and the England Ladies team who as part of Nat West Cricket Force 2010, turned up on mass last Friday to paint the pavilion and perimeter fencing.
As the photo’s show, the volunteers included current England Captain, Andrew Strauss, together with former internationals Mike Gatting and Angus Fraser. Our maintenance Manager, Ken Eichen was there to lend a hand but Sky Sports and the National Press focussed their lenses and microphones elsewhere!

Congratulations to Karim Najm who is featured in the February CTI Construction Training Bulletin. Karim was a former CTI trainee who was introduced to Bugler Developments in 2001 when working as a Trainee Carpenter on our site for Acton HA in Hounslow. Karim's management potential was soon spotted so we decided to offer him a full time position with us as a Trainee Site Manager. He has since progressed up the management chain and is now an experienced Site Manager and, ironically, is back in Hounslow as part of the management team on our scheme of 76 flats currently being constructed for Metropolitan Housing Trust.
