Policies

All our policies are reviewed and updated quarterly by our Board of Directors with input from all members of staff. Our policies are in place because we believe in identifying key aspects of our business and highlighting our position on the same. Our policies are not a marketing tool but are a tool which provide points of reference and guidance as we go about our daily business. Our current policies include;

Health & Safety

the Health & Safety of all our staff, personnel working and visiting our office and sites, together with those in the nearby vicinity, is our top most priority. We are CHAS registered and all our Health and Safety policies, practices and procedures are monitored by our internal Heath & Safety Committee and by NHBC Health & Safety Services. We also ensue that any third parties working on our sites go through a thorough vetting process in order to ensure they will comply with our high standards.

Equal Opportunities/Diversity

From interview stage to retirement, we are an equal opportunities employer with a strong culture of fairness and respect. We look to recruit a diverse workforce to mirror the wider community within which we operate and take positive steps to redress any imbalance in this area. Whether based on race, sex, sexuality, age or any other reason, we treat everyone equally and treat any such discrimination as a disciplinary matter.

Environmental/Sustainability

We are fully appreciative of the fact that all our projects form an integral part of the environment they are situate both during construction and for the life of the buildings we construct. We do all we can to ensure we create a positive impact on the environment from the inception of a project and throughout its life.

Training

As an Investor in People we fully recognize that our strongest resource is our people. We do everything we can to train and improve our people both directly employed and those working on our sites.

Customer Care

We always put the customer first and fully appreciate that the end user of our units has to be 100% satisfied with the end product both at completion and beyond.

Client Care

We value all our clients and make sure we have clear lines of communication available at all times should the client wish to discuss any matters of our performance with us.

Procurement Policy

Whether selecting subcontractors, suppliers, consultants or any other third party, we have one starting point that is never compromised “The cheapest option is not always the best value option”. We have built up long term working relationships which are based on quality over quantity and price only plays a small part in our selection procedures.

Local Labour Policies

We recognize that our sites form part of the society within which they’re situate and we insist that our subcontractor’s employ a pre agreed ratio of their personnel from the local area.
